Lockhart, Tex. – Irby Construction Company, a premier transmission construction company based out of Richland, MS, has expanded to Lockhart, Texas, just 30-minutes southeast of downtown Austin. The new facility includes 14,000 square feet (SF), of which 4,000 SF is office space and 10,000 SF is warehouse. San Marcos, Tex. – Greater San Marcos Partnership (GSMP), the economic development organization serving the center of “America’s Next Great Metropolis” (Forbes 2016), is going downtown. GSMP announced that it has relocated to the historic McKie-Bass Building in downtown San Marcos located at 113 N. Guadalupe Street. The McKie-Bass Building was built in 1893 and is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historical Places.
